Who would have thought that the only thing that could have reenergized John McCain’s faltering Presidential campaign, is a man named Joe the Plumber. The rollercoaster ride that sent Joe Wurzelbacher from obscurity to folk hero status, started innocently enough when Democratic Presidential Candidate Barack Obama was on a routine campaign stop in Joe’s Ohio hometown, answering questions from undecided voters, when the world’s third most famous plumber, behind Mario and Luigi, asked his now infamous question regarding Senator Obama’s tax policy, when Obama told Joe that he believes we need to, “…Spread the wealth around.” An answer which many believe is an untimely slip of the senator’s typically eloquent and pithy tongue, that may have revealed his real socialist views.
Prior to this the American public had been fooled by Senator Obama’s elaborate speeches and his never ending rhetoric of “Hope” and “Change”, as if those were actual policy ideas rather than election buzz words meant to lull the average American voter into a false sense of safety until their taxes were raised drastically and the economy feel into a freefall the likes of which has not been seen since the Great Depression. Ironically Obama had been running on a platform of “Change”, even though he consistently admits his tax plan is that of the mid-1990’s and of the Clinton Administration. However his tax break is more reminiscent of that set forth by FDR during the depression that had the top earners in this country paying seventy percent of their hard earned money in taxes. There is only one word to describe Obama’s economic plan, “socialism”.
It appears that finally, after dodging the totally fair questions about ACORN, Reverend Jeremiah Wright, and his association with unrepentant domestic terrorists William Ayers, Barack Obama cannot seem to be able to shake this questioning about his egregious lack of understanding of the economy. Joe the Plumber seems to have stumbled upon the single most glaring and terrifying way that Barack Obama is ridiculously unqualified for the office of the Presidency; the economy and taxes.
For the past few weeks John McCain had seemed to be conceding defeat in this election, and his campaign had lost all of the little momentum it had left. He was dropping drastically in every single poll and Senator Obama was maintaining an eleven point lead in the national polls, when Joe asked his question. Since then Senator McCain, and his supporters for that matter, have become energized and have finally become ready to contest this election again. Since Joe the Plumber was able to do something that no media outlet has been able to do, get an honest answer from Senator Obama, John McCain has shot back up in the polls, behind the rallying cries of Joe the Plumber and the want to maintain a free-market capitalist society, and now Senator McCain sits only two points behind Obama in the National polls, well within the margin of error. This issue of socialism coming to America has energized McCain’s base, as well as many undecided voters as well; elevating Joe the Plumber into something of an American Folk Hero. Now the election may not be decided by just one question asked by some random jackanapes, who many believe was merely a plant by the McCain campaign, but it has shown light on how completely out of touch and dangerous Barack Obama is, and has given McCain at least a fighting chance to become the next President.

Your Obama quote, "We all can't be driving around in our SUV's, eating all the food we want, and keeping our houses at 72 degrees" is pretty misleading when taken out of context. A google search shows he was talking about environmental policy and there were some more words after he spoke. It might be damaging to your efforts if you make a habit of misleading.
